Peace, love and flower power are the inspiration for this label design. The colours and paisley foliage reflect those in the psychedelic posters of the 70s.
Akiraho Pale Ale
Brothers Beer brewery is located in the shadow of Auckland’s highest volcano, Maungawhau / Mt. Eden and set amongst the leafy streets and lovely old villas on Akiraho Street. Pale Ale is a sophisticated craft beer. This label is a sophisticated nod to the brewery location and it’s drinker.
Notorious IPA
Everything about this Notorious IPA is BIG: with bold fresh flavours, and a higher ABV, the label needed to be punchy, bright and loud on the shelf. This is achieved through fun use of typography and contrasting colours.
Highway to Helles Lager
Helles is a German style lager and the most popular style in New Zealand. Highway to Helles is an obvious reference to the ACDC song, so the design needed to be a little rock and roll, heavy metal with a dash of bogan.
